Here are our weekly prayer points as we seek to immerse our youth ministry in prayer.
Monday – Pray for youth, parents, and counselors to enjoy the day off as a day of rest, sabbath, time with family and time experiencing God’s presence
Tuesday – Pray for all youth starting a new year at school. Pray for the year to be filled with learning, peace, friendships, and the constant awareness of God’s leading and presence in our daily lives
Wednesday – Pray for summer mission trip planning. We have some exciting things we are planning but need God’s Spirit to lead us, provide for us, and center our hearts on Christ’s purposes
Thursday – Pray for the fall kick off. Pray as we finish our plans for Sunday and pray that Sunday would be the start of an incredible fall infused with God’s spirit and love. Pray that this Sunday we all get a taste of what God is going to do in our midst this year
Friday – Pray for our parents and youth counselors. Pray for God to give them rest, renewal, and growth in their spirits and lives. Pray that God will continue to use them to model the life of Christ for all the youth
Saturday – Pray for all the Syrian Refugees as they are experiencing continual tragedy. Pray for an end to the violence in Syria and pray for safe refuge, provision of life’s needs, and God’s ever present care in the midst of this crisis. Pray for how the church can respond
Later this week I will share a post on some small, but powerful and practical things we can do to respond to be in ministry with Syrian Refugees
